What is a fishing license useful for ?

Taking a fishing card means paying for the right to fish in open water, but not only that. The holder of a fishing card must be a responsible angler, inclined to respect aquatic environments and to promote fishing.

It is also fulfilling statutory contributions used to fund local fishing communities.

By paying the Fisheries and Aquatic Environment fee (CPMA), you are also helping to protect aquatic environments. It partly covers the fee for the protection of the aquatic environment collected by the water agencies. It also contributes to the funding of the National Federation of Angling and the Protection of the Aquatic Environment, which supports the departmental Federations in carrying out their missions.

Interfederal Card

Annual "Adult" Licence

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods

100% reciprocal with all the French reciprocal AAPPMA (approved assoiation for fishing and protecting the aquatic environment); which means that this cards allows its holder to fish in areas managed by other associations than the one they bought their card from, anywhere in France, if those are reciprocical too.

Adult Licence

Annual "Adult" Licence

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods

No reciprocal with others AAPPMA (approved association for fishing and protecting the aquatic environment)

Price : 77 € (variable depending on the association)

Women "discovery" Card

Annual "discovery" Licence for women

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods with only one line

Includes a free URNE stamp if bought in a reciprocal AAPPMA (approved association for fishing and protection of aquatic environment)

Price : 36 €

Youth Card

Annual "Youth" Licence

For children aged from 12 to 18 years old on the 1^st January.

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods

Includes a free URNE stamp if bought in a reciprocal AAPPMA (approved association for fishing and protecting the aquatic environment)

Price : 22 € (variable depending on the association)

Discovery Card

Annual "Discovery" Licence

For children under 12 on the 1^st January of the current year

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods with only one line

Includes a free URNE stamp if bought in a reciprocal AAPPMA (approved association for fishing and protecting the aquatic environment)

Price : 7 €

Weekly Licence

Licence valid for 7 consecutive days, starting anytime from the 1^st of January to the 31^th of December of the current year

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods

Must show the days of validity

Includes a free URNE stamp if bought in a reciprocal AAPPMA (approved assoiation for fishing and protecting the aquatic environment)

Price : 34 €

Day Card

Licence valid for 1 day, from the 1^st of January to the 31^th of December of the current year

1^st and 2^nd fishing categories - All fishing methods

Must show the day of validity

No reciprocal with others AAPPMA (approved assoiation for fishing and protection protecting the environment)

Price : 12 € (variable depending on the association)
